AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea's long-awaited new single "Team" now has a release date. The Aussie raptress took to Twitter on Wednesday, March 2 to excitedly announce that she'd finally drop the track on March 21.
Asked by one of her followers why the song comes out on a Monday instead of a Friday like other singles do, Iggy replied, "I dunno. i didnt ask. i was just happy to have a date." Responding to another fan, she revealed the accompanying music video wouldn't arrive on the same day, but she might "do a lyric video, or maybe even a dance/lyric type thing day of release so u know the words!"

She also confirmed that she created the music video with the same production company behind Drake's "Hotline Bling", Zayn Malik's "Pillowtalk" and her own "Fancy". When another Twitter user pointed this out, the 25-year-old femcee replied, "Funnily enough, i have actually worked with this production crew on every music video since fancy."
The visuals still has no official release date, but fans can get a glimpse of it via a behind-the-scenes picture uploaded a few days ago on Instagram. In the snap, Iggy rocks a high ponytail and white outfit while posing with her crew in front of what looks like a plane.
"Team" is the first official single off Azalea's next album, "Digital Distortion". She previously planned to precede the song with two buzz singles, "Azillion" that was released in January and "Middle Man" which hasn't seen the light of day.
