AceShowbiz - Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence have been named Forbes' Highest-Paid Oscar Male and Female Nominees. Leonardo earned an estimated $29 million pretax from June 2014 to June 2015, thanks to upfront compensation for "The Revenant", residuals from older movies and a Tag Heuer endorsement.
The only other highly-paid Oscar male nominee is Matt Damon, who earned an estimated $25 million pretax from June 2014 to June 2015. He was nominated in this year's Oscar for his role in "The Martian".
Jennifer, meanwhile, earned an estimated $52 million pretax from June 2014 to June 2015, thanks to her paychecks from "The Hunger Games" film series, upfront compensation for "Joy" and lucrative Dior contract. The 25-year-old actress earned her fourth Oscar nomination for her role in "Joy".
According to Forbes, not a single one of the other female Oscar nominees in the Best Actress or Supporting categories earned more than the $6 million cut off to make the Highest-Paid Actress ranking.
