The estranged wife of Gavin Rossdale reveals the muse behind 'Make Me Like You' and says that she's blindsided by her bandmates.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani talked about her new single "Make Me Like You" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" following the release of her music video at the Grammy Awards. The estranged wife of Gavin Rossdale admitted to Jimmy Kimmel that the song was about her new boyfriend, Blake Shelton.

"It is, actually. I will admit that that song is about that guy, yeah," she said. "What's so crazy is that sometimes tragedy, if you really absorb it, you can turn it into something beautiful. And this whole album is about trying to take something that's awful, and just, I don't know, healing from it and then turning it into something beautiful."

The host also asked his guest about her No Doubt bandmates working with a new vocalist. "I actually first heard about it on the Internet, so that's funny you say that," Stefani said. "But no, they're doing a side project. They want to do a band; they want to be in a punk band. It's not No Doubt. All the guys from No Doubt are doing a new band, just to do new music."

So, is she still in the band or not? Stefani seemed unsure as she said that she would have to confirm it with bassist Tony Kanal first if she decided to reunite with her bandmates. "There probably would be a vote," so she explained.
