Movie

Various animals like a pig, a sheep, some rabbits and a snail are seen singing familiar tunes like Lady GaGa's 'Bad Romance and Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda' in the video.

AceShowbiz - A teaser trailer for "Sing" is here for anyone who wonders what "American Idol" looks like in a world entirely inhabited by animals. Dropped online Monday, February 15, the video finds a Koala named Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) holding an audition for a singing competition that he hopes will save a theater he owns.

Soon, every animal in the town becomes aware of the competition and lines up outside the theater to show off their talent in front of Buster. We get to see various animals like a pig, a sheep, some rabbits and a snail singing familiar tunes like Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance" and Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda".

Written and directed by Garth Jennings, who's worked on music videos for the likes of Radiohead, Vampire Weekend, Beck and Blur, "Sing" will center on Buster as he tries to produce the world's greatest singing competition and the five lead contestants that include a mouse (Seth MacFarlane), who croons as smoothly as he cons, a timid teenage elephant (Tori Kelly), who has an enormous case of stage fright, a mother (Reese Witherspoon) with 25 piglets, a young gangster gorilla (Taron Egerton) looking to break free of his family's felonies, and a punk-rock porcupine (Scarlett Johansson), who struggles to shed her arrogant boyfriend and go solo.

The animated flick is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on December 21.
