'Baywatch' Movie Adds Hannibal Buress to Cast

AceShowbiz - Hannibal Buress is heading to the beach. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedian is already in final negotiations to join the cast of Paramount's "Baywatch", a big-screen adaptation of the popular 1990s TV series of the same name.

However, don't expect to see him stripping down to his speedo and running on the sand in the upcoming film. The actor, known for his role on Comedy Central's "Broad City", will reportedly play one of the locals in the bay community.

The "Baywatch" movie is directed by Seth Gordon and will center on the leader of an elite group of lifeguards, played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who is forced to team up with Zac Efron's young former Olympian character in order to save the beloved bay. Also starring Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra and Kelly Rohrbach as the members of the lifeguard team, it will start filming on February 22 for a May 2017 release in the U.S.
