The 12-minute performances include colorful outfits, a lot of impressive dance moves, Coldplay's old and new hits and the first live rendition of Bey's latest single 'Formation'.

AceShowbiz - That was definitely one of the best Super Bowl performances ever. As expected, Coldplay brought along past performers Beyonce Knowles and Bruno Mars as the band headlined the halftime show during the big game taking place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara Sunday, February 7.

Coldplay kicked off their set with some of their own hits like "Viva La Vida", "Paradise" and "Adventure of a Lifetime" while surrounded by numerous fans and musicians in colorful outfits. Mars was up next, performing his and Mark Ronson's hit "Uptown Funk". Clad in black top, pants and black shades, he also showed off some impressive dance moves alongside his crew, who also wore all-black outfits and golden chains.

Beyonce joined them later. Looking amazing as usual in a black leotard and heels, she launched into her new song "Formation" and busted out some choreographed moves with several female dancers. Towards the end of the show, Mars and Coldplay's Chris Martin re-emerged on the stage alongside Bey and brought their set to a close with a bang.

They teamed up for "Fix You" as the screen displayed a montage of past Super Bowl performers including Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen and U2.

The Super Bowl 50 also included an appearance from Lady GaGa, who was hired to sing the National Anthem. The singer, who called her Super Bowl performance a "dream come true," stunned in a red Gucci suit paired with mismatched red, white and blue Gucci platform shoes as she beautifully belted out "The Star-Spangled Banner" earlier in the game.
