The 'Late Late Show' presenter is set to serve as an emcee for the upcoming 70th Antoinette Perry Awards in June.

AceShowbiz - James Corden will host the upcoming 70th annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards live on CBS from New York's Beacon Theatre on June 12. It will mark his first time serving as an emcee for the event. Last year it was co-hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Tony Awards," he gushed. "Both times I've worked on Broadway have been amongst the happiest times of my professional life. I consider it to be a huge honor to be asked to host such an incredible night. It's going to be fun; I can't wait to dust off my tap shoes!"

"The Late Late Show with James Corden" host himself is a Tony winner. The British funnyman grabbed the best actor prize in 2012 for his performance in "One Man, Two Guvnors". In 2014, he starred in a big-screen musical "Into the Woods" adapted from the Tony-winning musical of the same name.
