Director James Gunn has been sharing some pictures showing cast members like Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista and Michael Rooker during rehearsals.

AceShowbiz - The "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" won't arrive until 2017, but director James Gunn has been sharing behind-the-scenes photos to make the long wait easier for fans. Most recently, he posted on his Facebook page a picture of the main cast members during a rehearsal session.

The snap, arriving on Monday, February 1, shows Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista standing alongside Gunn's brother Sean Gunn who provides the physical presence for Rocket Raccoon. In the caption, the filmmaker jokingly bashed everyone's acting skills, except Bautista's.

"When someone's screwing up a scene during rehearsals I show them Dave Bautista (Batista) as an example of good acting. With Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, and Sean Gunn. #GotGVol2," he wrote.

Other behind-the-scenes photos posted a few days ago include one that features Yondu's depicter Michael Rooker and one that sees Gunn having fun with Pratt's name during a table read. "It was the most fun I've ever had watching a table read, and just as much fun seeing everyone together again. However someone spelled out star's name wrong so I had to correct it for him," read a caption for the latter snap.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is set for release in the U.S. on May 5, 2017. In a comment for one of his Facebook posts, Gunn revealed that the movie would start filming on February 11.
