'The Bachelor' Recap: Does Ben Finally Know the Real Olivia?
TV

The Olivia drama is boiling to the point that Ben delays the rose ceremony, and one girl is dumped during a group date.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelor" took Ben Higgins and the remaining girls to Mexico in the Monday, February 1 episode. It began with a one-on-one date with Amanda. Ben woke her up in the girls' hotel room at 4:30 A.M..

The two took a balloon ride over ancient ruins. During a romantic dinner, the single mother of two opened up that her ex-husband had cheated on her. Ben said she didn't deserve that before he offered her a rose. She accepted it and they kissed.

In the group date, Jubilee, Becca, JoJo, Caila, Emily, Lauren B., Jennifer, Leah and Olivia learned Spanish and then paired up for a cook-off. Since there was an uneven number of girls, someone would pair up with Ben and that girl was Olivia.

Jubilee, finding it hard to see Ben kissing other girls, pulled herself away from him. She refused to sweet-talk Ben in Spanish and refused to hold his hand, which hurt Ben's feelings. During a private time, Ben and Jubilee talked about this and Ben admitted he was no longer "confident" in their connection due to her resentment.

Jubilee begged him not to give up on her, but when she asked him if he saw a future with her, Ben said it would be unfair of him to tell her that he thought that something could exist between them based on how his other relationships were progressing. Ben then told her that he thought it's best for them to say goodbye.

Jubilee was crying and Ben returned to the girls alone. JoJo comforted him, but it was Olivia who snatched the group date rose.

Next was the second one-on-one date and the lucky girl was Lauren H.. The kindergarten teacher met Ben at a boutique and they ended up walking the runway during the Mexican Fashion Week presentation.

To the camera, Ben shared his concerns about their romance being a "slow burn," but during the rest of their date he saw a new side of Lauren H. and became more attracted to her. He gave her a rose.

Meanwhile, the tension caused by Olivia reached a new point as the so-called this season's villain compared Amanda to "Teen Mom". Olivia apologized but the girls didn't buy it. At the cocktail party, Emily tearfully told Ben about the girls' issues with Olivia. "I seem to know one Olivia, but the girls seem to know a different Olivia," Ben said, finally sensing something's wrong with Olivia.

After Amanda and Jennifer made similar confessions about Olivia to Ben, he decided to delay the rose ceremony to speak to Olivia again. Olivia did get the group date rose, but was she still safe? The episode ended with a cliffhanger and the outcome of the rose ceremony will be revealed next week.
