Vanessa Hudgens stands out with her amazing performance as Rizzo on Sunday night, just hours after her dad passed away of cancer.

AceShowbiz - The cast of "Grease Live" shook up TV screens on Sunday night, January 31. Their performances received so much love from viewers who quickly took to Twitter to rave about the FOX live musical production.

Vanessa Hudgens, in particular, stood out for being able to deliver a flawless performance as Rizzo in a difficult situation. The "High School Musical" alum tweeted just hours earlier that she lost her father due to cancer.

EW's Michael Ausiello tweeted, "I will never underestimate Vanessa Hudgens again." Robbie Rozelle, meanwhile, wrote, "Let's give it up for @VanessaHudgens who is performing under unimaginable circumstances, and doing it brilliantly," and Marc Bernardin added, "Vanessa Hudgens, right there, trying not to cry. The most emotional, most sincere part of #GreaseLive."

Fellow actors also heaped praise on the cast. Rebel Wilson gushed, "This cast is CRUSHING IT! #GreaseLive." Yvette Nicole Brown posted on Twitter, "I'm loving @VanessaHudgens as #Rizzo!!! All the #PinkLadies are perfection." Anna Kendrick wrote, "BRAVO. Get to killin' it @AaronTveit @juliannehough," and added later, "Can TV be like this every night? #FreddyMyLove #GreaseLive."

Film producer Jason Blum was among those enjoying the show too. "#GreaseLive is awesome. Congrats @juliannehough and gang. I am loving it," he posted on his own Twitter account. Some were impressed by the quick costume changes as Marisa Roffman tweeted, "These quick changes...so impressive. #GreaseLive."

Variety's Debra Birnbaum sang praise for Keke Palmer. "@KekePalmer absolutely slays with #FreddyMyLove - and nails that costume change. #GreaseLive," she wrote. Another Twitter user, Chris Craigman, concluded, "All things considered, #GreaseLive was amazing. I can only imagine how much hard work would have gone into this LIVE production. Unreal."

Among all the good words for "Grease Live", one thing that people were missing was the scene where Danny (played by John Travolta in the 1978 movie) was singing on a swing while an image of dancing hotdog and bun was playing in the background.

"That was great, but where were the dancing concessions and dramatic swing set?" Katie Dayer complained. Echoing the statement, Megan McCafferty wrote, "WHERE ARE THE CONDIMENTS AND HOTDOGS DOING TRICKS?" Lauren Hand similarly tweeted, "WHERE ARE THE DANCING HOT DOGS."
