The first official trailer for the upcoming animated comedy gives a look at the bad-tempered bird who has dealt with anger management issue since he was a child.

AceShowbiz - While animated comedy "Angry Birds" is four months away from being released, the first official trailer has made its way online. The trailer focuses on Red (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), who has dealt with anger management issue since he was a child.

As you can see in the two-minute video, there are so many things that make Red lose his temper, like a neighbor who always annoys him as well as a green pig invasion. The trailer also gives away some footage that shows Red's childhood, in which he was bullied because he has thick eyebrows. "Ever since he was a little bird, Red never fit in," so reads the tagline in the video.

However, Red, who lives in an island populated with flightless birds, makes big contribution to his surrounding. When a group of villainous pigs invade the island and want to steal the birds' eggs, Red leads a team of hilarious flightless birds to defeat the enemies. "Doesn't anyone see what's going on here? The whole world is in danger and it's up to us to stop them," Red says.

Sudeikis is joined by Josh Gad who lends his voice to Chuck, Danny McBride who voices Bomb and Bill Hader who voices porcine spokesman Leonard in the voice cast. "Angry Birds" is directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly with the script written by Jon Vitti ("The Simpsons"). The animated comedy is due to open in the U.S. on May 20.
