The 'Because You Loved Me' hitmaker is mourning the loss of her brother Daniel at his memorial service in Repentigny, Quebec, just a day after her husband Rene Angelil's funeral.

AceShowbiz - Celine Dion and family honored her brother Daniel Dion during a memorial service held at the Salon Rajotte Charles funeral home in Repentigny, Quebec on Saturday, January 23. The visitation came just a day after the "Because You Loved Me" hitmaker attended the funeral of her husband Rene Angelil.

As Celine and her family gathered at the funeral home, they sang together to honor Daniel, Le Journal de Montreal reported. Many people gathered outside to offer their condolences. When the Canadian singer was in her car about to leave the venue, she rolled down the window to thank several of them, said the news outlet.

Daniel passed away at the age of 59 after suffering from brain, throat and tongue cancer. His death came just two days after Celine's husband Rene died of similar cause. Daniel's funeral would be held on Monday at the Saint-Simon-et-Jude parish in Charlemagne, Quebec.

It has been a heartbreaking month for Celine. However, the mourning singer has received a lot of support from family members, friends and fans. She told PEOPLE at her husband's public memorial Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica on Thursday, "The support we've received has been such a blessing." During Rene's funeral on the following day, their son Rene-Charles said before the crowd, "Dad, I promise you here that we're all going to live up to your standards."
