A source claims that the 'World Is Not Enough' actress is 'just trying to stick up for her kids and what was promised to them.'

AceShowbiz - Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are continuing their legal battle for the sake of their children Sam and Lola Rose Sheen. While Charlie's lawyer Marty Singer claimed Denise was "trying to use the children to get more money for her," a source tells E! News that Denise is "just trying to stick up for her kids and what was promised to them."
According to the source, the "Starship Troopers" actress "is not asking for any more for herself. This has nothing to do with the divorce or the money she gets from that settlement. This is all about protecting the trust for her children." Another source close to the situation, meanwhile, insists that "this isn't about money for Denise and [Marty] knows that. She is being attacked for standing up for her kids."
The source claims that Denise has never kept her children away from Charlie. "He sees them as much as he wants to. Denise feels it's important for them to have a relationship with their father. She would never keep them from him, that's why she agreed to move by him in the first place," the source explains, "Charlie's first concern should be with making sure his kids are cared for and that is not happening."
According to a previous report, Denise claimed Charlie threatened to kill her and their daughters. The "Wild Things" actress said her ex called his daughter Lola "a f***ing pig whore" and yelled, "I'm going to kill you and I'm going to kill your mom."
In 2013, Charlie allegedly sent his daughter text messages which read, "Have a merry Xmas with your loser f***s**t mom ... your dad is a rock star genius ... your mom is a puss wart." He also insulted Denise's acting skill, saying, "B***h couldn't act hot in a fire or wet in a pool."
