AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik's fans flooded Twitter on Tuesday, January 5 with the hashtag "ZaynStayStrong." They made the hashtag a trending topic on the social media to support the former member of One Direction who's reportedly mourning the death of his grandmother.
One fan @5DaysFor1D tweeted, "Deepest condolences to you and your family, sending my love to you @zaynmalik #ZaynStayStrong." Another fan @93cuddlynjhx wrote alongside pictures of Zayn smiling, "You are such a strong person, i know you are gonna get through this :) x #ZaynStayStrong."

The account @waliyha.azad posted a picture of her grandmother alongside an emotional note. "R.I.P to my grandma I love you more than anything in the world my angel it was so hard to see you struggle the way you have been but I know your in a better place now with my granddad he'll be so happy to see you after so many years," read the caption.
However, some fans mistakenly posted pictures of the singer with her ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards' great-grandmother which was taken in 2014. Alongside a picture of Zayn and Perrie's great grandmother smiling, Twitter user @AnieTommo wrote, "I'm so sorry[.] We are always here for you Zayn #RIPGrandmaBrannan #ZaynStayStrong." Posting similar picture, user @camillarry wrote, "she is proud of you, I am close to You @zaynmalik #ZaynStayStrong."
