The Australian rock band asked fans to help them tell a story for the visuals of their latest single from their second studio album 'Sounds Good Feels Good'.

AceShowbiz - In an attempt to get closer to their fans, 5 Seconds of Summer asked them to help the band create a music video for their latest single "Jet Black Heart". The result was overwhelming even for the foursome.

"We asked our fans to help make this video. We wanted to hear your stories. We were overwhelmed by the response. This video goes out to you," the video says in the beginning. A variety of fans lipsync the group's heart-wrenching song with some even shedding tears as they sing. The video was directed Tom Van Schelven who had helmed some of the boys' previous clips.

"Jet Black Heart", which has entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart, is a single off the band's second studio album "Sounds Good Feels Good". It has much darker tone compared to the album's first two singles "She's Kinda Hot" and "Hey Everybody!". The song was a written collaboration between bassist Calum Hood, guitarist Michael Clifford, Jon Green and former Evanescence member David Hodges.

The tour to support the album, "Sounds Live Feels Live", will kick off in February in Asia and visit Europe as well as North America before taking them home to Australia. But first, 5 Seconds of Summer is scheduled to take the stage and perform live at "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2016" which airs on ABC on December 31.
