Movie

The 'Single Ladies' hitmaker is reportedly on board for the remake of the classic, which marks Bradley's directorial debut.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles is on board to star alongside Bradley Cooper in his directorial debut flick "A Star Is Born", sources tell Page Six. According to the insiders, Bradley is meeting with producers in Hollywood but the production will not begin until the end of 2016 or possibly January 2017.

Sources claim Bradley needs to find the right script that will let him "disappear" into a part and shake off two bombs, "Burnt" and Cameron Crowe's "Aloha". "Beyonce is a go," says a source, adding that Bradley is still seeking the rest of the cast. "He's out to find the rest of the cast, but he may take another acting role [in the meantime]. He's furiously making everything he can," explains the source.

The site claims that Beyonce has been taking acting lessons and looking for "an iconic dramatic role." She was originally rumored to star in the remake of "A Star Is Born" with Clint Eastwood directing, but he later dropped out the project.

As for Bradley, a Hollywood source claimed, "He is looking to really disappear into his next role. That's where Bradley's best - in 'American Sniper', 'American Hustle', 'Silver Linings Playbook'." The "Joy" actor has also been rumored to direct "Honeymoon With Harry" starring Robert De Niro.

Representatives for both Beyonce and Bradley haven't commented on the report yet.
