Contrary to the swirling rumors, Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme will not make an appearance on U2's stage this Sunday.

AceShowbiz - Rumors suggesting that Eagles of Death Metal will make a surprise appearance on U2's concert in Paris this weekend are not true. Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme were previously rumored to share the stage with U2 when the later perform at AccorHotels Arena on December 6.
"We're back in Paris and it's great to be here," Bono and his bandmates set the record straight. "Some people have been saying that Eagles of Death Metal will appear on stage with U2 tonight. This is not the case. We have another surprise guest planned for tonight's show."
U2 will be the first international star to hold a concert in Paris after the fatal terrorist attack on November 13. Jesse and Josh also expressed their desire to return to the French capital, "I want to be the first band to play in the Bataclan when it opens back up. Our friends went there to see rock and roll and died. I want to go back and live."
