Bieber energetically performed a medley of his 'Purpose' hits while Dion paid tribute to Paris with a version of Edith Piaf's 'Hymne a L'Amour' ('The Hymn to Love').

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber closed out the 2015 American Music Awards with a bang. The Canadian superstar performed some hits from his newest album "Purpose" as he took the stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night, November 22.
The Biebs kicked off his set with an acoustic guitar-driven rendition of the record's lead single "What Do You Mean?". Later, he broke into his verse from "Where Are U Now", his collaboration with Diplo and Skrillex, before bringing down the house with an energetic performance of "Sorry" which included fake rain and epic dance moves.
Celine Dion was another AMA performer highlighting the event. The French-Canadian singer offered touching tribute to Paris in the wake of November 13's terrorist attacks in the city. Looking gorgeous in a black floor-length dress with flower details, she beautifully sang Edith Piaf's "Hymne a L'Amour" ("The Hymn to Love") while Paris-related images including the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower were displayed on the screen behind her.
In addition to Bieber and Dion, the 2015 AMAs featured notable performances from a lot of other music's big names, including Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainor.
Gomez played her latest single "Same Old Love" off her "Revival" album while her fellow former Disney star pal Lovato performed the title track of her "Confident" LP. Lovato also helped celebrate the 20th anniversary of Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill" by joining the 41-year-old songbird for her '90s hit "You Oughta Know". Trainor, meanwhile, brought along her collaborator Charlie Puth for their hit "Marvin Gaye" before shocking everyone when they ended the song with a makeout session.
