The 'Prometheus' actress is reportedly eyed to play the lead role in a movie written and directed by Kirsten Sheridan.

AceShowbiz - A movie that chronicles the life story of Amy Winehouse is currently in the works. According to a scoop from ScreenDaily, "Prometheus" actress Noomi Rapace is in negotiations to play the late jazz singer in the untitled Amy Winehouse biopic.
"August Rush" helmer Kirsten Sheridan writes the script and serves as a director. The producers who are also behind Jimi Hendrix biopic "Jimi: All Is by My Side" are currently in talks with Winehouse estate to secure the rights to her music.
Earlier this year, a documentary titled "Amy" was released. Despite getting rave reviews from critics, it was criticized by her father Mitch Winehouse for painting him as a villain. He said he was working on a movie to "correct all the wrongs and omissions" that were in the documentary.
