According to a new report, RiRi's eighth studio effort may also see Jay-Z's 'Magna Carta' or Beyonce's surprise album-esque release.

AceShowbiz - The official release date for Rihanna's long-awaited new album "Anti" remains a mystery although the singer has revealed some of its details. After she unveiled the official title and artwork last month, there was a rumor saying that the highly-anticipated project would arrive on November 6.

Report about the date, however, was immediately shut down by Billboard, which now says that the album will likely arrive in December. An anonymous source told the news outlet that the holdups were caused by RiRi herself, who reportedly had trouble deciding which song she'd make her next single.

Another factor that contributed to the delay was her record label boss Jay-Z's desire to have an unconventional release strategy for the album. Hov's apparently inspired by the success of his "Magna Carta... Holy Grail", which arrived through his partnership with Samsung, or his wife Beyonce Knowles' self-titled set that came out of nowhere back in 2013.

"Anti" has so far spawned "FourFiveSeconds" featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney, "B**ch Better Have My Money" and "American Oxygen". In order to complete the album, RiRi has canceled her scheduled performance at the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Ellie Goulding has been hired to replace her at the event, which will be taped on November 9 before airing on CBS next month.
