Fans unleashed their anger on Twitter after the group's remaining members announced they delayed the highly-anticipated album until 2016.

AceShowbiz - TLC raised more than $400,000 from the Kickstarter campaign they launched earlier this year to fund what they planned to be their final album. Months after the campaign ended, no new music from the group has arrived, and fans aren't happy about it.

The album was initially scheduled for release later this year, but the remaining members of the band announced over the weekend that they pushed it back to 2016. "We are moving the album back to 2016, so that we will have more time to finish the record the TLC way. Thanks as always for your love and support and we can't wait to deliver a new record and tour next year," they wrote in a message posted on their Kickstarter page.

Numerous fans who have been anticipating the album, especially those who donated money to the campaign, responded to the announcement by venting their frustration on Twitter.

"Is Chilli that busy lookin for a rich husband? Is T-Boz dealing with some foreign policy issue we don't know of? Where's the music?" one fan tweeted on Sunday, November 1. "TLC raised over three times what their goal was for that Kickstarter and y'all can't even get a snippet of music. Something is wrong here."

"Everybody who donated to (T)elling (L)ies for (C)hecks," another wrote. Some others trended the "#TLCisGoingToJailParty" and wrote hilarious messages to TLC alongside various GIFs. "When you're a TLC fan but remember they took yo money & ran," said a fan, who added a short clip of a woman pretending to be crying.
