'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Deleted Scenes May Indicate the Return of Mandarin
Movie

One of the deleted scenes in the Avengers movie suggests that fan-favorite villain Mandarin is still alive, although he seemed to be killed in 'Iron Man'.

AceShowbiz - The recently-released "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Blu-Ray and DVD gives away some deleted scenes of the film. Some of those unseen footage may give ideas about the future of Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of them suggests that fan-favorite villain Mandarin is still alive.

In the scene, Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) talks to James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) via videocall. "We're getting access tonight on all basic information streams," she tells Rhodes. "Yeah, well you guys are definitely off the Pentagon's Christmas list. Every country with a nuke is fighting a cyber attack. War Machine is being deployed to the Middle East in case certain people start blaming each other instead of you," Rhodes answers.

What Rhodes says indicates that he, as War Machine, will be sent to Middle East to stop a political uproar. There is a speculation that in one of their upcoming films, Marvel will feature political conflicts that also exist in real life.

While terrorism is a major issue in Middle East, people predict that Marvel will substitute real organization like ISIS with the fictional one like the Ten Rings. The idea of the existence of the fictional rogue organization suggests that Mandarin still exists within the MCU, although the villain was presumably beaten off in "Iron Man".
