AceShowbiz - The Weeknd and Bruno Mars lead the nominations at the annual Soul Train Awards this year. The Weeknd racks up a total of five nods and so does Bruno along with his "Uptown Funk" collaborator Bruno Mars.
They are pitted against each other in Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Songwriter's Award. The Weeknd is additionally vying for Best R&B/Soul Male Artist and Best Album of the Year while Mars and Ronson adds nods for Best Dance Performance and Best Collaboration.
Beyonce Knowles, Chris Brown, and Tyrese Gibson are among those scoring four nominations. Other musicians getting multiple nods include Nicki Minaj, D'Angelo, and Big Sean.
The winners will be announced in an event taped on November 6 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, and broadcast on November 29 at 8 P.M. EST on Centric and BET.
