Lamar's children, Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom Jr., thank his fans for their outpouring support and ask them 'for [their] continued prayers.'

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom's children, Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom Jr., have finally broken their silence amid their dad's hospitalization. In a statement obtained by E! News on Thursday, October 15, both children thanked his fans for outpouring support and asked them to continue their prayers for the athlete.
"Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends," read the statement. "We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers." As previously reported, Lamar's children arrived in Las Vegas alongside their mother Liza Morales on Wednesday.
In the wake of Lamar's critical condition, fellow athlete David Beckham took to Instagram on Thursday to show his support to the former Los Angeles Lakers basketball star. He posted a throwback picture of Lamar when he was still a part of the Lakers. A caption for the picture read, "Stay strong brother."
Lamar was found unconscious with "mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth" at a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada on Tuesday. He was rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas for more treatment. Doctors claimed to have found "cocaine and opiates" in his system. Furthermore, a source at the brothel revealed that he consumed 10 sex pills over the course of 3 days before he was found unconscious. Lamar's hospitalization is currently investigated by Nye County Sheriff's Officials for the alleged drug abuse.
