Juan Pablo Di Pace will play Kimmy's ex-husband Fernando on the Netflix revival series.

AceShowbiz - "Fuller House" is adding another actor to its cast line-up. Argentine actor Juan Pablo Di Pace, who starred as Nicolas Trevino on TNT's "Dallas" and as Jesus on NBC's "A.D. The Bible Continues", has been cast as Kimmy's (Andrea Barber) ex-husband Fernando, TVLine reports.

The character was previously described as "inappropriately passionate." His relationship with Kimmy didn't work out because of his love for women. Though so, he is determined to reunite with his ex-wife, and he remains close with their daughter Ramona.

The show recently tapped Soni Nicole Bringas to play Kimmy's half-Hispanic daughter Ramona. Meanwhile, DJ Tanner's (Candace Cameron Bure) sons will be played by Michael Campion and Elias Harger. She also has an infant son.

The "Full House" spin-off will center on the recently widowed DJ and her three kids, along with her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and neighbor Kimmy. The new series will be preceded by a one-hour reunion that reunites original stars, including Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Scott Weinger.

The revival series will be released on Netflix in 2016.
