AceShowbiz - "The Last Man on Earth" has just featured another big actor as a guest star. In the Sunday, October 4 episode of the FOX comedy, Will Ferrell made a surprise appearance, much to the delight of viewers and "Saturday Night Live" fans in particular.
Ferrell's seen among the returning old Tucson crew, January Jones' Melissa, Mary Steenburgen's Gail and Boris Kodjoe's other Phil Miller, as Will Forte's Phil Miller tricked his wife Carol (Kristen Schaal) into coming with him to Malibu. Details of Ferrell's characters are not immediately available, but according to E! News, he could be trouble for Phil.
Ferrell is expected to appear in future episode(s). He's the latest renown actor to join the cast of the post-apocalyptic-themed series after it was recently revealed that Phil's brother Mike is played by none other than Forte's fellow "SNL" alum, Jason Sudeikis.
"The Last Man on Earth" airs Sundays at 9:30 P.M. on FOX.
