AceShowbiz - Sci-fi classic "Back to the Future" turns 30 years old this year and Universal will release the 30th anniversary edition of Blu-ray and DVD for the classic trilogy. Besides containing the three original films, it will include a short film entitled "Doc Brown Saves the World", in which Christopher Lloyd reprises his iconic role of Doc Brown.

The short film will explain why the 2015 people are living in is different from the version Doc Brown and Marty (Michael J. Fox) explored in "Back to the Future II." On October 2, Marty and Doc Brown will have finally reached their 2015 destination and the classic scene from the movie will become a reality in less than a month. The "Back to the Future" anniversary box set will hit stores on October 20. An animated series of "Back to the Future" will also be included in the package.
