The English rock band will relaunch their 'Who Hits 50!' North American tour in February 2016.

AceShowbiz - The Who announced on Tuesday, September 29 the rescheduled dates for their 50th anniversary tour. The band's "Who Hits 50!" North American tour will kick off on February 27, 2016 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Guitarist Pete Townshend said in a statement, "We will be starting our rescheduled shows in March and will be coming back stronger than ever!" Ticket for the originally scheduled shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates.

The only note, according to a statement, was that tickets for the October 19 gig in Toronto will be accepted at the March 1 show, while those for the December 1 show in Toronto will be honored at the April 26 concert. Tickets and VIP packages are available on the band's website.

The tour will visit New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto. It will wrap on May 29, 2016 in Las Vegas.

The band previously postponed all tour dates as their frontman Roger Daltrey recovered from viral meningitis. Roger said in a statement, "We are very sorry to disappoint our fans in this way. For the last four weeks, I have been in and out of the hospital and have been diagnosed with viral Meningitis. I am now on the mend and feeling a lot better but I am going to need a considerable time to recover. The doctors tell me I will make a complete recovery, but that I should not do any touring this year."
