The R 'n' B crooner reportedly will take residency at Drai's Beachclub and Nightclub, rotating the nights with Songz.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown is close to taking residency at Drai's Beachclub & Nightclub at The Cromwell boutique hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The 26-year-old singer reportedly has struck a deal and will do a trial run of six shows before committing himself to longer residency.

Sources close to the R 'n' B crooner said Brown would be paid $50,000 per concert during his stay. It's certainly nowhere near those earned by such celebrities as Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey but Brown has the chance of increasing his fee if the tickets sell out like his previous gigs.

TMZ said the club "has been so impressed with the large crowds and great shows Chris has put on in the past, they've decided to test out a long term deal."

But Brown won't be the sole performer. Sources told TMZ that Trey Songz was part of the deal and would be rotating with Brown. That would make the total fee investment around $500,000.

Brown is a frequent performer at Drai's. He celebrated his 26th birthday at the club where he spun and fell off the stage. He also tweeted on Friday, September 25 that he will be celebrating his mom's birthday there on October 3.
