Michael Stahl-David Joins 'LBJ' as Bobby Kennedy
Movie

He will play the younger brother of John F. Kennedy who criticizes Vice President LBJ throughout his position as Attorney General.

AceShowbiz - Rob Reiner's "LBJ" has found an actor to portray Robert F. Kennedy. "Cloverfield" star Michael Stahl-David is tapped to play the Attorney General and younger brother of former U.S. president John F. Kennedy.

"LBJ" centers on the political upheaval that Vice President Lyndon Baines Johnson faced when he was thrust into the presidency at the hands of an assassin's bullet in November 1963. With political battles on both sides of the aisle, Johnson struggles to heal a nation and secure his legacy by passing the historic Civil Rights Act.

Bobby Kennedy was known to despise LBJ. During his tenure as Attorney General, he criticized the vice president for his failure to desegregate his own office staff. Per Deadline, he was enraged when his sister-in-law Jackie Kennedy told him LBJ initially did not want her to fly back on Air Force One after JFK was assassinated in November 1963 because, as LBJ heartlessly opined, "She's no longer First Lady."

Woody Harrelson is cast as Johnson, Kim Allen will portray Jackie Kennedy while Bill Pullman and Richard Jenkins also take the role of politicians. Joey Hartstone wrote the script which was included among 2014 Black List.
