The rapper reveals the title of his new LP as he shares with his fans the positive reviews he's received from DJ Khaled, who likens the album to Dr. Dre's 'Chronic' and Nas' 'Illmatic'.

AceShowbiz - A new detail about August Alsina's second studio album has emerged. The rapper announced the project's official title as he shared with his Twitter followers the positive reviews he received after playing his new music for DJ Khaled.
"Played my new album #ThisThingCalledLife for Khaled nem ' .. Here's some of what they had to say," he wrote alongside a link to a black-and-white Instagram video of him hanging out with Khaled in a studio.

In another Instagram clip, he added, "I like the way you sequenced the album. I love the music. The only time I've ever heard albums like that was Dr. Dre's ['The Chronic'] or Nas' 'Illmatic'."
"This Thing Called Life" is due out later this year. Coming as a follow-up to last year's "Testimony", it has already been preceded by "Hip-Hop" and "Why I Do It". The latter features guest appearance from Lil Wayne.
