'It's one of those things that's been discussed, but until it's concrete I wouldn't announce it,' Ginger Spice says of plans to do another Spice Girls reunion next year.

AceShowbiz - Another Spice Girls reunion may really happen. Following multiple rumors that the group would reform next year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut single "Wannabe", former member Geri Halliwell a.k.a. Ginger Spice has now confirmed that such plans have been discussed.

During an appearance on "This Morning" on Tuesday, September 8, Halliwell first expressed gratitude for fans' support. "I think it's really flattering that people are still so supportive of the Spice Girls individually and collectively, that's beautiful, it's really nice. It almost feels you know that it [the Spice Girls] belongs to everyone, like a generation," she said.

Of the reunion, she refused to share too many details but did let fans know she and the other girls had talked about it. "It's one of those things that's been discussed, but until it's concrete I wouldn't announce it," she explained. "I think it would be nice to celebrate it in some way. I can say that there's been talks! I think that's fair and honest."

Spice Girls last reunited as they performed together at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Since then, Victoria Beckham a.k.a. Victoria Adams a.k.a. Posh Spice has stated multiple times that she would never perform with her former bandmates again.

While Beckham doesn't seem to be interested in doing another Spice Girls project, the group's other former member Emma Bunton said earlier this year that she, Halliwell and Melanie Brown would love to do something together again if "the timing is right."
