The Australia-born singer, who famously hides her face from the spotlight, covered her face with her iconic blunt blonde wig and a huge black bow on her head at the 72nd Venice Film Festival.

AceShowbiz - Sia Furler a.k.a. Sia tried to disguise herself at the 72nd Venice Film Festival. The "Chandelier" hitmaker hid her face with her iconic blunt blonde wig and a huge black bow on her head while making public appearance at the event.

The Australia-born singer tried to stay covered up for the occasion. Sia wore a black long-sleeved shirt with a decorative collar which she paired with matching high-waisted trousers and a pair of vertiginous heels.

The accessories on her head unfortunately obstructed her vision. At one point, the 39-year-old singer was photographed getting on the boat carefully while getting helping hands from some crew members.

Sia previously addressed why she hid her face from the spotlight in an interview with Chris Connelly on "Nightline" in June. "I don't want to be critiqued about the way that I look on the internet," she confessed. "I've been writing pop songs for pop stars now for a couple of years and I've become friends with them and see what their life is like and that's not something I want."

Though she has been extremely private about her look and her life, Sia managed to have success in her career. Her sixth album "1000 Forms of Fear" was nominated for four Grammy Awards earlier this year for its hit song "Chandelier".
