The 'Because I Got High' rapper has to pay fine and complete anger management class after pleading guilty to simple assault.

AceShowbiz - Afroman gets a suspended six-month jail sentence for punching a female fan back in February. The "Because I Got High" rapper has been ordered to pay a $330 fine and ordered to undergo anger management and impulse behavior counseling.

The hip-hop star whose real name is Joseph Edgar Foreman pleaded guilty to simple assault. "No jail time, six months Fro bation," the rapper wrote on Facebook after the ruling. If he fails to do any of the judge's orders, he will be send to jail for a half year.

His rep previously said of the incident that happened at his Biloxi, Mississippi concert, "This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space. It was uncharacteristic behavior that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces."

He also apologized to the victim, "I'm here to apologize. I need some help. I'm going to find a foundation. When people get on stage you don't know what they're doing. It was wrong, I shouldn't have slapped her with an open hand. And security should have been there ... I'm just here to do me, I shouldn't, what happened shouldn't have happened. I'm just trying to make the best out of a bad situation."

The victim, Haley Byrd, suffered concussion due to the incident. She plans to sue the music venue, Kress Live, as well. "We cannot untangle the circus that brought us to this moment, but Kress Live did not live up to its legal obligations to provide adequate security for its entertainers and customers," judge's attorney Rufus Alldredge told the Sun Herald Thursday. "That place was a free-for-all."
