Amidst Josh Duggar's cheating scandal, Jill and Jessa are seeking education to address the aftermath of the abuse they faced at the hands of their brother.

AceShowbiz - "19 Kids and Counting" siblings Jill and Jessa Duggar want to raise awareness to child sexual abuse amidst their brother Josh's cheating scandal. In a new TLC documentary titled "Breaking the Silence", which premiered Sunday night, August 30 on TLC, the sisters made it clear that the topic of child molestation deserves more discussion on a national scale.

"I feel like this should be a discussion that people are having, even regularly," Jessa said in the hour-long special. "I think that it shouldn't be a taboo subject and that we should be bringing awareness to child sexual abuse and talking about it." Jill added, "It was amazing to understand that there are so many people that deal with the exact same thing in their own families, so just being educated is very good."

Jessa, who's currently pregnant with her first child, said she learned "things I can do to set up boundary safeguards for my child and children."

Michelle Duggar, who also participated in the sexual abuse prevention training seminar given by Darkness to Light, said she's impressed to see her daughters speaking out for an important cause. "I was so glad that my girls and I were able to do this together," she explained. "And that we could just be a support and encouragement to each other to be able to gain more information about this important topic."
