AceShowbiz - The third installment of "Planet of the Apes" reboot has found an actor for one of its new key human characters. %cGabriel Chavarria% ("East Los High", "Low Riders") has scored the coveted role in the "War of the Planet of the Apes".
Director Matt Reeves and screenwriter Mark Bomback from the previous installment, "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes", are set to return for the new one. It was originally planned for a 2016 release but it was later pushed back a year to July 14, 2017.
What the threequel might entail is still unclear. %cAndy Serkis% who played a motion-capture role as Caesar, the leader of the apes, in the two previous films may return for the third installment.
The first movie, "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", starring %cJames Franco% brought in over $480 million worldwide in 2011. The second one which was supported by %cJason Clarke%, %cGary Oldman%, and %cKeri Russell% collected more than $700 million in 2014.
