An unidentified female fan got injured during a concert in Walla Walla, Washington after a guitar stand thrown into the crowd by the group's vocalist Marcus Mumford landed on her head.

AceShowbiz - A fan ended up getting injured when attending a Mumford & Sons concert. An unidentified female concertgoer got her head hit with a guitar stand thrown into the audience by the British band's frontman Marcus Mumford during their recent show in Walla Walla, Washington.

The incident was captured in a video taken by another fan in attendance and later obtained by TMZ. In the clip, the group was in the middle of performing "Ditmas" when Mumford hurled the guitar stand into the crowd for no clear reason.

The site reported that the fan was clearly hurt after the metal rod landed on her head. Other people in the crowd tried to get Mumford pause the performance so the fan could get medical attention. For now, it's still unclear how bad she was injured. Representatives for the band haven't commented on the incident.

Mumford & Sons has been playing shows in North American cities as part of their "Gentleman on the Road" tour. The trek, which is wrapping up later this month with a couple of festival appearances, comes in support of their latest album "Wilder Mind".
