The 'Good for You' singer joins Brad Paisley, Missy Elliott and John Fogerty as team advisors for upcoming season 9 of the NBC singing competition series.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez is coming to NBC's "The Voice" in this upcoming season 9. Having launched several albums and hit singles, the "The Heart Wants What It Wants" hitmaker is tapped to serve as an advisor for Gwen Stefani's team.
She joins Brad Paisley who is billed as advisor for Blake Shelton's team, Missy Elliott who will help mentor Pharrell Williams' team, and Creedence Clearwater Revival's John Fogerty who is set to act as an advisor for Adam Levine's team.
Additionally, Rihanna has been booked to serve as a key advisor for the ninth season. "We landed Rihanna to be the key advisor to all the coaches this fall," NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt announced at the TCA press tour in Beverly Hills, California earlier this month. "This is one of music's true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers."
The new season of "The Voice" kicks off Monday, September 21 at 8 P.M. ET on NBC.
