Teen Choice Awards 2015: Josh Hutcherson and Channing Tatum Among Early Winners

Former 'The Vampire Diaries' star Nina Dobrev, the late Paul Walker, Shawn Mendes, Little Mix and Britney Spears have already became victors at the Sunday ceremony too.

AceShowbiz - The 2015 Teen Choice Awards just kicked off on Sunday, August 16 at 8 P.M. ET, but some of the nominees had already bagged the trophies. Among the early winners was Josh Hutcherson who won Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy for his role in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1". The movie was also chosen as Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Another movie hunk, Channing Tatum, nabbed the title of Choice Summer Movie Star: Male for his performance in "Magic Mike: XXL". The Choice Summer Movie Star: Female title went to model-turn-actress Cara Delevingne who takes a lead role in "Paper Towns".

"If I Stay" was announced as Choice Movie: Drama, with Scott Eastwood of "The Longest Ride" and Chloe Moretz of "If I Stay" taking the gongs for Choice Movie Actor and Actress respectively in the Drama category. "Pitch Perfect 2" star Skylar Astin, meanwhile, was named Choice Movie Actor: Comedy.

The late Paul Walker was honored with Choice Movie Actor: Action/Adventure, while his movie "Furious 7" nabbed the Choice Movie: Action/Adventure title. Wiz Khalifa's theme song for the movie "See You Again" feat. Charlie Puth was additionally voted as Choice Song from a Movie or TV Show. Wiz nabbed another award in Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song.

In TV field, "The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev won Choice TV Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy. She and her former co-star Ian Somerhalder also took home the Choice TV: Liplock prize, while the show was named Choice TV Show: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Other early winners included Lea Michele of "Glee" (Choice TV Actress: Comedy), Ross Lynch of "Austin & Ally" (Choice TV Actor: Comedy), "Empire" (Choice TV: Breakout Show), Grant Gustin (Choice TV: Breakout Star), Ellen DeGeneres (Choice Comedian), Shawn Mendes (Choice Web Star: Music), Miranda Sings (Choice Web Star: Comedy), Little Mix (Choice Music Breakout Artist), Bea Miller (Choice Music: Next Big Thing), Britney Spears (Candie's Choice Style Icon), Stephen Curry (Choice Male Athlete), Chloe Lukasiak (Choice Dancer).

The 17th Annual Teen Choice Awards is currently airing live on FOX from the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
