Miss Piggy ruins the filming of another promo with her ex Kermit and Kerry Washington, who only cares about taking a selfie with Kermit.

AceShowbiz - ABC enlists more A-listers to promote the upcoming "The Muppets" series. In one of the new released promos, the newly single Miss Piggy is super distracted by Nathan Fillion's butt as the "Castle" actor is hanging around the studio while Miss Piggy is filming a promo for her show.

Miss Piggy is also teaming up with Kermit and Kerry Washington for another promo video, but Miss Piggy ruins the filming by stealing her ex-boyfriend's line. Washington, noticing the former couple's "tough breakup," doesn't really care about what happened between them and only wants to take a selfie with Kermit.

In another video, Patricia Heaton has a trouble communicating with Swedish Chef.

Kermit and Miss Piggy announced their split at the TCA press tour earlier this month. "Piggy and I have gone our separate ways romantically," said the frog. "It can be tough to work with your ex. It can be tough to be the executive producer on your ex's late-night TV show, especially when your ex is a pig. I don't know whether any of you have ever dated pigs."

To The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Bill Prady explains how they got the idea to break up Kermit and Miss Piggy. "One of the places it came from is Eric Jacobson [Piggy] and Steve Whitmire [Kermit] have done press with them for the past however many years and they always get asked about their relationship," he says. "Because there has been no ongoing place to tell that story, they've been caught in this, 'Well, it's complicated' kind of place."

"Just listening to it, I said it sounds like they broke up," Prady continues. "They're being really evasive. Then Bob Kushell [executive producer] said, 'What if they're broken up?' and it seemed to make sense with what I saw when they were interviewed. It seemed like that couple that was putting up a public face but there was something going on."

He shares, "We started talking about it and I said Piggy probably wanted to be 'Brangelina' and wanted to be a public couple - and Kermit is a quiet fella from Mississippi who probably likes a night at home. I thought about other couples I know where one or both people in the couple are famous and the challenges they face and the difficulty they have of having a public persona of going out in the world and being recognized and how that affects your relationship. I said, 'Boy, I think it's entirely possible that they broke up and that they both had a good reason.' "

The new "Muppets" series is set to premiere Tuesday, September 22 at 8 P.M. ET on ABC.
