Fif recalls the 2000 incident in which he got shot nine times on the song which will apparently be featured on his upcoming 'Street King Immortal' album.

AceShowbiz - Fresh off premiering the song live during a rooftop party in New York City earlier this week, 50 Cent released the studio version of "9 Shot" on Thursday, August 13. The track will reportedly appear on the rapper's oft-delayed "Street King Immortal" album.

The approximately-two-minute audio was produced by Frank Dukes and finds Fif recalling his infamous 2000 shooting. At that time, he was shot nine times. On the song, the nine bullets he suffered also represent nine painful moments in his life.

"Sunday morning I was so sharp, all did up/ It was welfare hustlin', they killed her for that/ The first shot, bullet wound in my back/ I'm f**ked up, look at my sneakers, I'm f**ked up/ Now I'm on my own, mommy gone," he raps.

Fans have heard about "Street King Immortal" for years now. It was originally set to hit the stores in November 2012. It was later pushed back to February 2013 to coincide with the 10th anniversary of Fif's "Get Rich or Die Tryin' " before getting postponed again. The album is now scheduled to arrive in September.
