'Neighbors' Sequel Brings Back Dave Franco the Fratboy

While movie's plot remains under wrap, cast list continues to grow with Franco reprising his role as Efron's sidekick.

AceShowbiz - Dave Franco is back in the hood. The 30-year-old actor is set to star opposite Zac Efron, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne once again in the sequel to hit comedy "Neighbors".

Franco played Pete, the fraternity brother to Efron's character, in the first movie. The character, who had medium intelligence, was ready to graduate from college and start life as an adult. "Neighbors 2" will put him opposite new faces such as Chloe Grace Moretz,cKiersey Clemons% and Beanie Feldstein aka members of a sorority.

Movie's plot is kept under wrap but it has been reported that it won't stray far from the first movie. This time the sorority group led by Moretz is causing trouble for Rogen and Byrne. Efron and Franco presumably will aid the couple. The sequel also brings back the Rogen and Byrne's friends played by Carla Gallo and Ike Barinholtz.

Nicholas Stoller is back on the director's seat with Andrew Jay Cohen, Brendan O'Brien, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg writing the script. Rogen, Goldberg together with James Weaver are producing through their Point Grey Pictures.

"Neighbors 2" is set to hit theaters on May 20, 2016.
