AceShowbiz - Bill Cosby has been ordered by a California judge to sit for a deposition in a lawsuit brought by Judy Huth, who claimed she was sexually assaulted by him at the Playboy Mansion back in 1974. Bill will submit to questions under oath from Judy's lawyer Gloria Allred on October 9.

Judy is scheduled to give her deposition to Bill's attorney on October 15, according to Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Craig Karlan's decision which was made public on Wednesday, August 6. Gloria says in a statement, "We are pleased that we will now be able to move ahead without further delay on Ms. Huth's case, and we look forward to taking Mr. Cosby's deposition on October 9."

Gloria tells New York Daily News, "I will be there in the room with one of my law partners. We will decide closer to the date if my partner will take the depo or if I will take it." She previously said she expected to depose Bill in Massachusetts.

The star of "The Cosby Show" previously tried to get Judy's case dismissed and then asked to take her deposition before him but the judge sided with Judy in requiring the comedian to go first.
