The new trailer, which will be screened in IMAX theaters, is an alternate version of the film's trailer which was screened at Comic-Con in San Diego.

AceShowbiz - Just days after Warner Bros. debuted the first full trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" at Comic-Con in San Diego, an alternate version of the trailer has been released online. It is a theatrical trailer which will be screened in IMAX theaters soon.

The two-minute trailer is not quite different from the previous trailer, but it has shorter duration. Just like the Comic-Con trailer, the new trailer features the sequence of events where the conflict between Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill's Superman begins.

The trailer opens with a glimpse of destruction which strikes one of Wayne's buildings. It continues with the scenes of epic battle between the two titular heroes. Besides, the trailer provides a look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman holding her shield in the midst of the battle.

According to the official synopsis, "fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis' most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."

The movie also stars Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Directed by Zack Snyder, the movie which pits Batman against Superman will arrive in U.S. theaters on March 25, 2016.
