AceShowbiz - A teaser trailer for Joy Mangano biopic has arrived, showing the on-screen reunion between Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. The first "Joy" promo video is a sizzle reel that offers a recap of the life of the Miracle Mop inventor from her childhood to adulthood as she overcomes obstacles to eventually become a successful inspiring entrepreneur.
As The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" plays, montage of Lawrence's Joy working a nine-to-five job, facing challenges as a single mother, and creating designs for home appliances are flashed. A wedding, what seems to be a funeral, and a run-in with the law is also shown. "Don't ever think that the world owes you anything. Because it doesn't," she says.
Coming from critically-acclaimed helmer David O. Russell who previously directed Lawrence and Cooper in Oscar-nominated movies "Silver Linings Playbook" and "American Hustle", the true story about the Ingenious Designs founder whose products include Huggable Hangers is also supported by Robert De Niro. It will be released in theaters on Christmas Day this year.
