Edith Cushing's (Mia Wasikowska) life takes a tragic turn after she marries Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston) and lives in his full-of-dark-secret mansion.

AceShowbiz - A new clip for horror movie "Crimson Peak" has arrived. Starring Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska, the movie centers on an aspiring author who, in the aftermath of a family tragedy, is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider.

The one-minute video opens with an outside look of an old spooky house. "A house as old as this one becomes, in time, a living thing," someone says in voiceover as the video shows an ancient door open, leading to a dark aisle in a Victorian mansion.

"It may have timber for bones and windows for eyes, but sitting here all alone it can go slowly mad. It starts holding on to things, keeping them alive when they shouldn't be. Some of them good, some are bad. Some should never be spoken about again," the voiceover continues describing the haunted mansion.

The harrowing part is when a blood-stained creature emerges from the floor, crawls approaching the camera and fades into red smoke. "Beware of Crimson Peak," someone says in a creepy voice.

"Crimson Peak" takes place in 19th century England, centering on Edith Cushing (Wasikowska), a young woman who falls in love with a mysterious, handsome gentleman named Sir Thomas Sharpe (Hiddleston). After Thomas and Edith marry, Thomas brings Edith to his childhood home, an ornate, crumbling mansion filled with dark secrets that threaten to consume and haunt Edith forever. Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the movie is targeted for a U.S. release on October 16.
