AceShowbiz - Two of Meghan Trainor's shows this weekend won't be taking place as scheduled. The singer announced on Thursday, July 2 that she'd canceled the concerts originally slated for July 3 in Atlantic City and July 4 in Connecticut after she was diagnosed with a hemorrhage on her vocal cords.

"I don't want anyone worrying but I have had a haemorrage on my vocal chords," she wrote in a statement posted on her Instagram page. "Right now the doctors want me on complete vocal rest until they are healed."

The nixed shows were part of Trainor's ongoing "MTrainTour". The "All About That Bass" hitmaker went on to express disappointment over the cancellation and apologize to fans. "I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me," she continued.

"I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this amazing tour we've been working on. I am truly sorry to everyone who has bought tickets and made travel plans. I hate this," she added and concluded the post with a crying emoji.

Shortly after posting the statement, Trainor took to Instagram again to share a video taken while she's in New York to see another doctor. In the short clip, she used her phone to communicate. "I want to cry but I can't cuz it will hurt more," she wrote. "I hate everything right now."
