The 5SOS guitarist shows his bandaged face after his hair and part of his face were burnt by pyrotechnics at the Wembley Arena.

AceShowbiz - 5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford gives update on his condition after having a fire emergency onstage during a concert at London's Wembley Arena. The band was forced to cut short their performance after the guitarist's hair and face were burnt by pyrotechnics.

Clifford is seen scrambling away while putting out the flames with a towel. Before the group retreated backstage, bandmate Ashton Irwin explained what happened to the crowd, "Michael has hurt himself so we will not be continuing the show right now. Just want to say thank you so much for coming. He is OK. You guys have been the best crowd we could ask for tonight. Thank you so much."

Clifford later posted a picture of his bandaged face after he got a treatment. "Hello world. im doing ok :) thanks for worrying!" he wrote on Instagram. He also tweeted, "What the f*cks up. sorry I couldnt finish the encore, but at least I look like two face. thanks for worrying every1 x."

Bandmate Calum Hood commented, "No one ever wants to see your best friend in the state I saw mike backstage. He's a trooper and is ok." Another member Luke Hemmings posted, "Incredible show tonight for the most part, mikes in good spirits :) Glad he's all good!"

5 Seconds of Summer announced they would return to the Wembley Arena for their third show despite Clifford's injury. Irwin tweeted, "Early morning breaths... Today we are playing wembley for the 3rd time! Last night was crazy, happy my dude is ok..." Clifford added, "Feeling loads better and my face is fine :) excited for the show tonight."
