AceShowbiz - One of "Orange Is the New Black" inmates may check out of Litchfield. Fans have been curious about the status of Natasha Lyonne after her character is missing after the third episode of season 3.
Lyonne's Nicky Nichols was last seen [SPOILER ALERT!] being sent to the maximum security facility after hiding drugs in the electrical office in episode three. She's not featured in subsequent episodes and her name even disappears from the opening credits for the rest of the season.
This leads to speculation that Lyonne may not return as series regular for season 4. One fan tweeted, "Honestly Nicky better not be out of OITNB for too long or else I'll be PISSED." Another wrote, "I need confirmation that Nicky is coming back can you just tell me @nlyonne @OITNB @netflix pls."
Neither Netflix nor Lyonne has commented on the news. Perhaps fans have to wait until summer 2016 when the fourth season arrives to find out if Lyonne will rejoin Piper Chapman and the gang or not.
