Sideshow Bob, voiced by Kelsey Grammer, will eventually achieve his goal in the upcoming 'Treehouse of Horror' installment.

AceShowbiz - Sideshow Bob is back with his evil agenda on "The Simpsons" this coming fall. While his previous plans were always foiled at the last moment, he will finally achieve his goal to kill Bart Simpson in the upcoming annual Halloween episode.
Executive producer Al Jean said the ATX Festival panel in Austin, Texas on Saturday, June 6, "I hated frustration comedy so we'll scratch that itch." Kelsey Grammer, thus, is slated to return to voice Bob in the next "Treehouse of Horror" installment.
While it's unclear what happens to Bob after he accomplishes his life's mission, it's assured that Bart will be back on the show although he's killed off in the Halloween episode.
Also at the panel, it's announced that Homer's beloved Spider-Pig would be back in the upcoming 27th season.
"The Simpsons" returns with the new season this fall on FOX. It was previously reported that the "Girls" cast would appear in the season, with Lena Dunham voicing a new love interest for Homer.
